For the New Year-

Fun for the New Year- Barry McGuire sing Bullfrogs and Butterflies, and this is better than the "Eve of Destruction." Jesus changes everything

I don't think "the Eve of Destruction" was a bad song. And while I like quite a bit of Barry's later work I think the first song tells an important truth, even if it wasn't quite the message he intended to give. Aren't we on the eve of destruction? And isn't Jesus the only solution, both in the present age and the age to come?

Bob, I know, I even like the song in the right context. But if you had heard Barry speak not to long after his conversion you would know that he was in despair at the time but Christ made all the difference.

Anyway he liked the song and believes everybody's reaction to it led him away from harm and to Christ. Go here to read about it and click on the salvation sub-title to read about that too. It’s all very interesting.
